Hey all!

(personal stuff first, scroll past it if you're just here to offer a commission!)
Well, I've been sort of.. non-existent here lately. Well, I shouldn't say that. I've been on DA daily, I just haven't been uploading anything. I've repainted a few transformers here and there, but really, I just haven't been doing much because art is the last thing I want to do lately.

To make a long story short, I got kicked out of my college's graphic design program - each year there's a 'portfolio review' where a professor who's never had you looks at your classwork and decides if your talent is on par with your classmates'. They don't consider grades, effort, etc; it's just a subjective review by one professor. When I told my family that I needed to choose a new major, the first response was "so the last 2 years of college were a waste?" But by the time I finally got them (sort of) to realize that graphic design isn't the only thing I have a chance at, it was maybe 3 weeks until the end of the semester. I didn't register for classes because I needed a major to do so, and with my family constantly telling me that graphic design is what I'm destined to do and how could I stand to change it, I kinda just put it off. I can register any time before August, but by now most classes are filled, and I still have no idea what to major in.

I suggested taking a semester off - mentally and emotionally, I need to get out of school for a bit, where I'm constantly struggling in non-art classes and being told I'm not good enough. I've grown to hate everything about it, and have fallen into almost a depression because of it. But more importantly, I went into graphic design having no idea what it REALLY was. I knew designers made logos and such, but I had no idea that it is mostly advertising, and isn't like commissions here on DA. I want to actually look INTO my next major, not choose one at random because I'm rushed and end up hating everything about it two years later. For some reason, this translates to my parents as dropping out, because all they keep saying, over and over, is "you're not coming back to this house a drop-out." Sooo when I can break the news to them that I AM taking the semester off, even though they've been telling me not to, I will probably have to move out... which would be in 9 days.

I'm no where near affording an apartment, and my job is on-campus during the semester and pays minimum wage. Which means I have to find a new job and FAST (I've applied to a few places already but haven't heard back... anyone hiring? ;; ) Even if I am not forced out, I want to get out when I can, since the past few weeks whenever I'm with my family I feel very unwelcome and am barely spoken to. (All because of a major change and a semester off... things that people do often and are no big deal -.- )

So even though I'm trying to save what I can, I have decided that I finally want to seek out a commission that I've been wanting for months. If anything, a sort of pick-me-up for myself. The cost will be worth having something positive to look forward to!

I am looking for a commission of an Arcanine.
I am looking for his body shape to be similar to the Fao Schwartz wolf (linked below, and I own one so I can provide additional photos or a video if needed). His elbows are fairly loosely stuffed and his feet are weighted, allowing him to flop., while his neck is well stuffed and his head stays up. However, he is not like a common "floppy" plush that I see commissions of, as when you hold him up by his belly, his legs hang straight down and he looks as if he is standing with very correct anatomy. (So basically, a standing plush without the internal structure/extra thick stuffing to force him to stand). I would like the anatomy to be correct realistically, especially in the way the legs/paws bend like on this guy.

I like the beaded eyes, so I'm not looking for embroidery/felt/iron-ons/etc. For the fur, I'm looking for a short-ish piled fur for the body (orange/black and black belly). This tan nose similar to his body, but with longer fur for his fluff (should look like fluff, not so long that it looks like humans hair!). His tail would be a fabric shape using the longer fur, rather than a horse-like tail of long fur. (These things probably seem obvious to some, but really, I'm just pointing out things I like/don't like about other Arcanine plushies XD To the commissioner, I will show links of other commissioned Arcanines and things I didn't like, to help explain myself)

Size would be ideally 18" from nose to butt, but I won't go smaller than 10" nose to butt.

I can pay up front with paypal, that is no problem. I am hoping to get him commissioned as soon as possible, but am fine with wait times. I'll update when I'm no longer looking.
